I started my electronic music journey at 12 when I got my first decks and was instantly hooked on mixing and sound design. As my passion grew I immersed myself in the technical side of music, studying electrical engineering and music technology for a few years. During this time I co-managed an independent record label in the mid 2000s, balancing studio work with touring, running parties and hosting takeovers at major festivals nationwide. I then became deeply involved in the Bristol music scene, playing gigs, organising and promoting events at nearly every venue – including multiple sold out nights at Motion – and even had a weekly radio show on Ujima where I showcased emerging talent. Over the years I expanded into production, working with local artists and honing my own sound. Now I focus on an independent festival I co-organise, supporting the local scene by mentoring up and coming DJs, advising local promoters and repairing DJ equipment like DJ mixers, CDJs, Technics and controllers. My aim is to keep underground electronic music alive and make sure the next generation have the tools to succeed.
